In a world where everyone is talking about digitalisation and data, are we really building our reports so the users can use them to make data driven decisions?

In this session I will discuss report designs and use real world examples to try to understand how we as developers can create better reports for our business users.
Using Power BI is not just creating pretty charts with the right colours, neither is it just about displaying all data.
In stead we should be focusing on the importance of data quality and user personas, acknowledging the fact that building one report for an entire organisation is probably not the right solution.
Building one semantic model, with several reports, tailored for different user groups will most likely be a much better solution.
