When you're not given the luxury of building your model from scratch, it can be very easy to become overwhelmed by a model with hundreds of tables, no semblance of a star schema, and DAX that hasn't even been formatted, let alone carefully planned and performance tuned.

This session will outline a framework that can be used to digest the model, provide recommendations (or direct fixes) for some high-level model improvements, and how to then communicate these recommendations effectively to the team.
