On-Call AI Assistant: Streamlining Production Error Investigation with LLM

Efficiently handling production incidents is crucial for our business. At Next Insurance, we assign on-call engineers 24/7 to promptly address any issues that arise in production. To enhance our MTTR and alleviate the engineering workload, we've developed an On-Call AI Assistant. This assistant autonomously investigates issues using LLMs to streamline our workflow by providing summarized, useful information, and allowing our team to bypass repetitive tasks and focus on resolving issues more quickly. In this presentation, we'll discuss how we built this AI assistant, the challenges we faced, and the improvements in error resolution we've achieved.
