Through a systems approach, MTSS can address the challenges and strengths of gifted, 2e, and special education students. Leveraging supports for infrastructure (e.g., universal design for learning, data-based decision-making, and tiered services) can foster a flexible and responsive approach for all exceptional students and create pathways for excellence.
