As product designers, we need to prepare for the next generation of users who will have different needs and expectations from users today, based on the milestones set by technologies that have come to shape the next decade. In this talk, I will discuss the importance of designing for the future and share insights on emerging trends and technologies that are changing the next era of product design. I will also share some of my personal experiences enhancing legacy finance and marketing products at Paystack and Flicksocial with emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The highlight would be the impact these technologies can have on product adoption and engagement as well as how to go about developing the mindset for co-creating with them.
