Complex and feature-rich semantic models in Power BI typically contain a large number of DAX measures. Even more so when advanced interaction patterns in visual reports demand a high level of flexibility; like users wanting to choose what types of result they want to see and the format in which they want to see it.
In this session, we will dive into calculation groups: one of the features in Power BI to reuse DAX logic. You will learn how to use calculation groups, how to set a dynamic format and how to deal with some of the caveats in report design that come with their use.
