Protecting the 'Why' in Product Decisions

In this talk, I explored a quiet but costly problem in product teams - the loss of context behind everyday decisions. As we move faster and our tools evolve, the why behind trade-offs, scope cuts, and design choices often disappears.

I shared how this missing context leads to rework, onboarding lag and inconsistent experiences and why preserving the reasoning behind our decisions can make teams more aligned, efficient and future-ready. Through examples and reflections, I showed how we can start treating the 'why' as reusable knowledge.
