Svelte is here to stay!
A few years ago, the frontend framework Svelte set out to overtake the established frameworks.

Due to newly introduced concepts in the rendering of web applications, it has made a name for itself in the community in recent years and, according to the latest (2022) “State of JS” survey, is the framework with the greatest interest among respondents.

An essential component of Svelte is the concept of reactivity, which has been very well received and has already been taken up in several other frameworks. Various shortcomings in the current reactivity model have been addressed in version 5 of Svelte by introducing a new approach to reactivity.

In this session, we will look at the new tools available in Svelte 5 for developing web applications and the advantages they bring compared to the original concepts.
