Lesson learned implementing GenAI in a "classical" BOT

There's a lot of Bots around! Many enterprises in the last decade have implemented many customer services support integration system based on chatbot in order to manage first level contacts with customers.
Recently the diffusion of GenAI offer has raised the request of integration with chatBots to give them an higher level of intelligence and independence in customer conversation.
That mean usually to implement RAG solutions standalone or mid tier services communicating with original systems.
