Hard lessons learned from a decade of architecting software products on Azure

There's a certain kind of joy that comes from architecting a new product using the platforms you love—like Azure. You envision a castle and begin building it, brick by brick. It looks beautiful on paper, and even more so in the cloud once it goes live. But no architecture is flawless, and the journey to production is always a turbulent one. In this talk, allow me to indulge you with the story of my many failed—and successful—attempts at architecting software products using a cacophony of Azure services released over the past decade, and why my next architecture must, once again, reflect the signs of the times.
