A Multiple Ways to Create and Organize Documents in SharePoint with AI Skills and Agents

Document creation in the AI era is no longer a linear activity it is a continuous, intelligent lifecycle that spans creation, enrichment, classification, and discovery.
SharePoint has evolved into the foundational knowledge layer for Microsoft 365 Copilot and agents, transforming documents from passive files into active, AI‑ready assets that power everyday work.
In this session, we’ll explore how Agent Builder and Copilot Studio Agents enable multiple, flexible ways to create documents in SharePoint starting from user intent expressed in natural language and evolving into governed, end‑to‑end solutions.
We'll examine how agents can orchestrate flows, actions, code execution, and AI prompts to generate content dynamically, adapting to data and context.
Beyond creation, we'll dive into how SharePoint AI Skills activate knowledge by automatically classifying, tagging, and enriching documents as they are created or ingested.
These skills encapsulate organizational standards, terminology, and governance logic, ensuring content is consistently structured, compliant, and discoverable.
By combining AI Skills with agents, documents can be routed, labeled, and organized intelligently across libraries—turning classification and governance into built‑in capabilities rather than afterthoughts.
To ground these concepts, the session will walk through two practical use cases:
(1) an AI‑driven document authoring experience where users describe their intent conversationally and agents generate fully structured, policy‑compliant documents in SharePoint; and
(2) an automated ingestion and governance scenario where incoming content such as project files or external documents, is classified, enriched and routed across libraries using SharePoint AI Skills and agent‑orchestrated logic.
