The Space Between Yes and No: Making Room for What Matters
I’ve always believed in saying yes to new ideas, new people, and new challenges. It’s how I’ve grown, connected, and found myself in unexpected places. But saying yes to everything comes with a cost. In this session, you’ll discover how to balance curiosity with boundaries – when saying yes fuels your growth, and when saying no protects what truly matters. Drawing inspiration from Yes Theory’s spirit of adventure, we’ll explore practical ways to stay open to opportunities that move you forward without losing sight of your energy, values, and priorities.
You’ll learn how to evaluate which opportunities deserve your yes, how to set boundaries that enable growth rather than limit it, how to maintain curiosity while protecting your energy, and how to make intentional choices aligned with what matters most. The session includes short reflective moments and opportunities for small-group sharing, so participants can connect their own experiences with others in the room. It’s designed for anyone who feels stretched thin by saying yes too often, or hesitant about missing out by saying no.
