Covid changed everything. Podcasting went from a niche thing to a cliche thing. All of a sudden everyone had a podcast.

True story: Not only does my dog have a podcast, he has more subscribers than me.

In this tech talk I will approach the idea of starting a podcast from two angles:

How to start a podcast on the cheap and how you can incrementally increase your costs as you add in more bells and whistles to your platform. I will show how you could literally have a podcast started from scratch in under an hour and have it available in various podcast outlets (Apple takes longer, but it would be there a few days as well).

Podcast on the go (in a bag). Once we become released from our current tethered existence everyone will want to be out. Where? Here, there, everywhere. You shouldn't be limited in where you can podcast, so how can you podcast from anywhere? I will show the tools needed to be able to do a podcast in any location that has no requirements (no power, no internet, no computer) as still have a professional sounding (even if the content isn't) result that you can publish as soon as you return to the real world (or back from McDonalds).
