Keep your Microsoft SQL Server Always On with Always On

Keeping your databases up and running while still not having hardware resources being idle waiting for something to break is crucial. With traditional Fail-Over clustering there is always idle resources. Microsoft SQL Server Always On Availability Groups lets you create federations of Microsoft SQL Server instances and share databases in a redundant manner and also giving you the opportunity to offload read-operations for your clients, reporting and/or consumers.

During this full day workshop you will learn all you need to be prepared to make your environment more highly available and less vulnerable. We cover preparation of the environment, Active Directory, authentication, implementation and configuring of Always On Availability Groups, the different options of HA for SQL Server, in-depth on AGs, backup, restore, scripting, database optimization, and much, much more.

All content in the workshop is based on years of experience with high availability on the field.
