Hitting the "Tab" key to accept code suggested by GitHub Copilot - an AI-driven pair programmer that makes developers happier (proven by research) - is changing the way we code. Its smart suggestions make it feel like the tool is reading your mind. This allows us to focus on the problem we're trying to solve, not on the code we're writing. We don't have to worry about syntax nuances, boilerplate, or boring and repetitive code we don't want to write. Instead, we can talk about the code we do want to write and how GitHub Copilot can help us. In my session, I'll show what GitHub Copilot is and isn't - understanding its limitations is key to using it effectively.
