Covering immigration means everything from tracking down deportation numbers to figuring out where people are being detained and what’s happening inside immigration courts. In this hands-on session, we’ll walk participants through some of the current available immigration-related data and go over how to interpret it. We’ll then use some of that data to discuss how we can get leads on local and national stories. (Bring your laptops to follow along.)
