“You should be in this role X amount of years,” “Don’t shake the table too much too early on,” and many other questions have become a part of Higher Education “norms” that impact how we navigate into and through our roles.

But how do we as professionals of color use our experiences and values in the job transition to center ourselves over “norms” for transitioning into a new role. This panel will consist of NODA members at various levels of experience
