Reducing k8s Complexity: Adopting AWS ECS with Ambient Mesh
As Kubernetes becomes the default choice for container orchestration, many teams are seeking ways to simplify their environments and accelerate development without getting bogged down in the complexity of managing the traditional sidecar container.
Engineers want a way to move faster, have turnkey solutions, and not have to get caught up in the underlying complexity of orchestration. One method of doing that is by implementing Ambient Mesh with Ztunnel.
AWS ECS, although AWS specific, offers comphrenesive compatibility with open source (OSS) projects, particularly those under CNCF. One of those major projects fall under the Service Mesh category, including Ambient Mesh, a sidecarless service mesh (at the data plane layer) solution.
In this session, you will learn how to implement Ambient Mesh within your containerized ECS environment to ensure robust security/encryption, traffic control, resiliency, and network observability.
