Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming healthcare, offering nurse practitioners new tools to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and strengthen patient relationships. This session will introduce the fundamentals of AI in clinical practice, highlight commonly used platforms relevant to primary/outpatient care, and explore best practices for responsible use. Emphasis will be placed on how NPs can leverage AI to improve patient outcomes and foster meaningful patient engagement. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of AI’s role in practice today and strategies for integrating it safely and effectively into patient care.
