This session focus on covering the basics of beginning to work with Power BI visuals. We touch on the process of taking business requirements all the way to creating visuals in Power BI.

Additionally, we cover the different types of visuals, from basic visuals like bar charts all the way to advanced analytics using forecasting in a Line Chart, or using the Decomposition tree.

Finally we discuss how to extend the experience of loading custom visuals from the Microsoft App Source and when users would want to use custom visuals vs. the built-in visuals from Microsoft.

Users should have a basic knowledge about Power BI desktop. Users should know what a Measure is and how to create a basic visual.

Target audience is for users who are new to Power BI and need an overview and introduction to building visuals for a Power BI report.
