As developers, we know how fun and powerful coding can be, but how do we explain that magic to our kids? And better yet, how do we get them excited about it?
I was asking myself the same questions when it hit me: it’s all about knowing your audience and breaking down complex ideas into terms they can actually understand. Inspired by ‘Cramel’, the hit Israeli book and TV series with 14M YouTube views, I created a playful workshop to teach kids the basics of coding.
The result? They were all hooked. My 9-year-old even followed up with questions about the efficiency of using functions and loops.
