Studio is a very powerful tool, but creating a long course using it can be time-consuming, as the course designer has to add manually each element in a process that takes time. We have created a python open-source code that takes an excel spreadsheet template with sections, subsections, lessons, and problems and creates a tar.gz file ready to be uploaded to Open edX Studio, including the about page content, the grading policy, and caption files if provided. It uses YouTube links for the videos.
