Apache Success in China
The open source movement in China has thrived for over a decade, establishing the country as the second-largest in the world in terms of the number of open source developers and contributors. The "China Open Source Annual Report," initiated by KAIYUANSHE, provides a comprehensive overview of the development of open source in China from various perspectives, including developers, technologies, projects, communities, corporations, education, and commercialization, as well as detailed insights into the growth of ASF projects and communities.
In this talk, the speaker will leverage the "China Open Source Annual Report" as a foundation to highlight the significant achievements of Apache in China over the past year. Additionally, drawing on her experiences as a member of several local communities, such as ALC Beijing and Hangzhou, and her role as an organizer for CommunityOverCode Asia, she will provide a unique perspective on Apache's journey and ongoing story in China.
