Oracle Databases on Kubernetes

Using operators in Kubernetes, you can easily deploy and manage an Oracle database on a Kubernetes cluster. Why could you want this? How do you do it? Which features do those operators provide? How is it portable between the native Kubernetes cloud services offered by OCI, GCP, AWS, and on-premises deployments? How are they
suitable for production workloads?

This session will answer all those questions (or will try!) by exploring the basics of Kubernetes, the implications of running an Oracle database on it, how to do it, and experiences testing the operators for Kubernetes in GCP, AWS, and OCI.

Demos of the main features will be done using OCI and local deployments, including some of the latest ones, as the OraOperator has had several releases since its creation a few years ago.
