This talk explores an experimental approach to integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) with VS Code Copilot Agent to develop automation scripts that always reference the latest API documentation. Traditional pretrained LLMs often rely on outdated knowledge, leading to the risk of generating code based on stale API versions. MCP solves this by dynamically discovering and injecting up-to-date API contexts into the scripting process, enabling accurate and reliable automation workflows.
