Copilot Studio Agent Skills at Scale: A Deep Dive

A deep dive into what it takes to move a Copilot Studio Skill from demo to production, for consultants understanding what a skill is, and how to use it in agents.

Building one skill that works in a test pane is easy. Building an agent with five interacting skills that still behaves correctly for a real customer, on real data, six months from now, is a different story. How do you split complex behavior into skills without them fighting each other? What happens when the orchestrator silently picks the wrong one? And where do Skills actually live once ALM, solutions and governance enter the picture?

In this deep dive, you will learn how to:
- Decompose a real business process into multiple non-overlapping Skills with descriptions the orchestrator can act on reliably
- Bundle reference files, templates and scripts into a Skill
- Debug the orchestrator live, using the activity tracker and "Get rationale" to diagnose a misfiring Skill

We'll walk through a real, production-style agent, a Business Central and Dataverse-integrated agent, including live debugging of a deliberately broken version.

This session is for developers, architects and consultants who have understanding of Copilot Studio agents and want to take the next step toward something you can hand to a customer.
