For a long time, I was advert to coding assistants. I didn't see any benefit: it was faster for me to write code, than to let them generate crap, and fix it afterwards.

Then, around summer 2025, something changed. At home, I used Claude Code for better and better results. At work, GitHub Copilot was not as good, but it was still producing acceptable results. I'm now at a point where I can't imagine not having coding assistants. I'm hooked.

I have "vibe-coded" (I hate the term) a few personal projects: a Kotlin multi-platform project to cross-post content across multiple social media sites, a Python project for an artsy project, and a command-line to report content on Twitter. By the time I actually do the talk, the list will probably be even longer.

In this session, I'd like to share how I use coding assistants. Since the landscape is changing all the time, I hope this session will be interactive and that you'll share as well.
