Capture The Story: Planning For Photos That Actually Matter

“Show, don’t tell” – it’s the golden rule of storytelling – yet so many mission-driven brands, founders, entrepreneurs, and organizations spend their time telling, telling, telling.

Using visual imagery is the most impactful, and shareable, storytelling we can do. But fear of getting in front of the camera, a lack of planning, or constantly moving ‘photography’ down the list of priorities prevents us from telling stories in a way that would connect more powerfully and immediately than words.

When we can take the time to outline the visual stories critical to our missions, the positive outcomes are plentiful: we leave a neural imprint with our audience, our photoshoots yield stronger images, and we build a content library that’s press-worthy.

What attendees will walk away with:
– The visual categories that drive missions forward
– How to incorporate ‘bread crumbs’ into visual storytelling
– A workshopped plan for a visual story unique to their brand or organization
