Architecting for Failure: Resiliency Patterns with Angular, NestJS and RxJS
Imagine a scenario where Angular web app is crafted to the very small detail. On a deployment day, everything runs smoothly and our users are delighted. And then, a disaster strikes! There is a network connection flicker, server hiccups happen a lot, and suddenly, users are left frustrated and leaving your app. Carefully crafted user experience crumbles right before our very eyes.
Resiliency patterns to the rescue! Patterns like exponential backoff, circuit breakers, bulkheads (and many more) are quite commonly used in microservices architectures. They can gracefully handle failures, prevent cascading disasters, keep our app running smoothly even in the face of chaos, and help us with crafting robust web apps.
In this talk, we are will explore how we can implement and incorporate these patterns easily within our Angular web app, with superpowers of RxJS 🚀
Are you ready to become a master of resiliency?
