We are experiencing a seismic, generational transition in the way that organizations use, buy, and enable their success in the cloud. This transition is on par with its historical antecedents: the mass market availability of personnel computers in the workplace, the ubiquity of the internet, and the migration from “on-premise” to cloud. In this session we’ll briefly explore lessons that the seventeenth-century Dutch settlement of New Amsterdam (now New York City) can teach us about cloud adoption (yes, it’s true) and then spend most of our time together focused on best practices for adopting, governing, scaling, and getting the most from the Cloud Application Platform with Microsoft Power Platform at the core. We’ll finish the time by diving deeper into proven ideas around environmental architecture, the modern data platform, road mapping, enterprise management maturity, and several practical examples of cloud-spanning solution architecture.
