Cloud Sovereignty in Practice: European Solutions, Trade-offs, and What’s Next
I have invited 3 different companies (Scaleway, Exoscale, Cyso Cloud) to take part in a debate about Cloud Sovereignty and beyond. These companies come from different countries within Europe (France, Switzerland, The Netherlands). They have extensive experience as cloud providers, and they provide different solutions for compute (i.e. Managed Kubernetes), storage, etc...
Attention to sovereignty, data control, and regulations is bigger than ever, but is that the only factor for their potential clients? What is there beyond that?
The goal of this panel is to openly debate the role of European cloud providers today: what sovereignty means in practice, what they can realistically offer, where the trade-offs lie, and factors that can influence adoption decisions.
Panelists will also share with the attendees their stories, challenges, and vision for the future.
