We were each born with a unique set of natural gifts and talents and express them excitedly in our preschool years. When teachers and parents recognize children’s gifts and give opportunities to develop the gifts, children gain greater chances for successfully adapting to the many changes and challenges life will present. When teachers and parents know their own gifts and talents, they too can better adapt to life by finding ways to express their authenticity as often as possible.
