Authentic Leadership and Workplace Authenticity are popular words in today’s work environments. Although they are primarily applied to businesses, both concepts have dramatic impact for the Head Start community. In a world that will potentially be largely run by artificial intelligence when current Head Start children reach adulthood, it may be increasingly difficult for them to recognize their authenticity and their natural gifts and talents. In this session Head Start leaders will gain a new understanding of what it means to be authentic, how it applies to leadership roles, its impact on team relationships, and actions that leaders can take to bring greater authenticity into the Head Start classroom and workplace.
