Growing as a Senior: Technical Leadership Without a Title

Since ancient times, every group of people has needed a leader—from families and tribes to cities and empires. Today, leadership still exists at many levels, but one of the most important and often overlooked is the team.

In this session, I’ll explore key questions like:

Who is the real leader in a team?

What comes first: the title or the authority?

How do you become a leader without burning out after a few days?

What habits and skills should you develop to become an authentic leader—without needing a title?

And most importantly: what are the pros and cons of being a “titleless” leader, and how do you know when it’s time to ask for that official role?

This talk is based not only on my personal experience, but also on insights I’ve gained over more than 13 years working as a developer, team lead, and manager.
