For first-year graduate students and up and coming professionals, imposter syndrome can heavily impact the experience people have within new positions. Many new professionals experience the impostor phenomenon which is primarily based in the self-doubt of oneself regardless of their qualifications. This phenomenon makes it hard for people in a transitional period. In this discussion we will focus on how to combat the insecurities that stem from imposter syndrome using our acronym BLOCK.
