Unlocking the Full Potential of Umbraco: Building Friendly Content Editor Experiences

Umbraco is often called "The Friendly CMS", and it absolutely can be when we, as developers, make the most of what it offers. In this talk, I’ll show how we can utilise Umbraco’s built-in features and community packages to build intuitive, efficient, and friendly experiences for content editors.

This talk is inspired by a conversation I had with a prospective client, who was struggling with a confusing Umbraco setup where the content editor experience had been sadly neglected. This was a strong reminder that we must not forget the content editor experience; we spend a lot of time and effort getting the frontend right, and it's just as important that we do the same for the backoffice.

So, let’s ensure that Umbraco lives up to its promise of being the "Friendly CMS" and explore practical ways to make the Umbraco backoffice a place that your content editors will genuinely enjoy using.

Talk duration: ~40 minutes.
