Session

UNITE – COLLABORATE – IMPACT

At its best, collaboration is the key to individual and organizational success, but how do you enhance collective goals to build up others and your community? During this talk, you will be provided with lessons learned on how to embrace your exclusive collaborative potential by understanding how two architectural and community designers were able to connect their diverse backgrounds, education, and family cultures together by collectively strengthening their individual experiences. Kelsey and Paola, naturally embraced others as equals due to their passion of equality, diversity, and inclusion which in turn enhanced the passion of others to collaboratively blossom the start of a movement within the architectural profession in St. Louis. In turn, they became part of the leadership efforts which successfully encourages effective collaboration with young emerging leaders in St. Louis Public Schools to empower the future of diverse, equitable communities. These students are one of the most important generations to ensure meaningful change will continue to exist and thrive. After this talk, you too will be able to effectively use your exclusive collaborative potential skills to unite like-minded individuals towards your movement and hopefully inspire others.
