The code is written, the code is "reviewed" and now it's time to deploy. Are you scared something will go wrong? Uh-oh, the business is reporting a page crashes, here's another wasted day trying to figure out why. We've all been on teams where nothing seems to be going in the right direction, or where deploying anything is a huge achievement.

This session will use past experiences as a case study on building an engineering organization the business can be proud of. We'll examine common pitfalls and stumbling blocks, relive horror stories of outages, and come out the other side ready to magnify the contributions our code and people produce.
