The Fellowship of the Stack. How I built the AI powered Digital Sovereignty Assessment platform

In the beginning, there was a question: how sovereign is your organization, truly?

A Fellowship formed. Not of Hobbits and wizards, but of tokens and vectors to carry the Assessment into the Fires of Production.

The journey was not easy.

First, the Shire of Requirements, where everybody nods at "just use an LLM" and nobody asks what happens when the context window runs out.

Then the Mines of pgvector: dark, vast, treacherous. Many have fallen there. Not us.

We crossed the Ridgeline of RAG. One wrong step sends you into hallucination on one side, retrieval irrelevance on the other.

At the Misty Mountains of Prompting we learned that a prompt is not a question, it is a contract.

Then the darkest place, the Bridge of Fine-Tuning. Many enter seeking power. Most find only complexity, overfitting, and a cloud bill.

But beneath Docker Mountain we found shelter. The full Docker AI toolset, a forge where the stack runs locally.

After Go routes, Gin handlers, React components, and Valkey cache misses, we reached Production Land of Desolation.

The Assessment survived.

Join me. I'll show you the patterns that work, so your Fellowship doesn't learn them the hard way.
