What Devs Don't Have to Do using an Internal Developer Platform

iDP (Internal Developer Platforms) and "Platform Engineering" are all the rage, but how would it make a difference in your day-to-day life as a developer?

Come see a "day in the life" of an app developer using the iDP built at Utah's own Weave (Communications).

We'll use the same tools Weave developers use to build and deploy a "Hello world" app - with back-end microservices, front-end UI, gRPC, REST, properly-handled sensitive information, authentication, documentation, auto-scaling, metrics, logging, and alerting. Along the way, we'll discuss how an iDP compares with "traditional" development methods.

For a preview of some of what we'll cover, see https://engineering.getweave.com/post/weave-devs-dont-do/
