Genkit: A introduction to Google's AI Integration Framework

Genkit is Google's open-source framework designed to streamline the development and deployment of AI-powered applications.

In this talk, I will provide an introduction to Genkit, and explain its core concepts, architecture, and key features. You will learn how Genkit simplifies the integration of various AI components, including large language models (LLMs), vector databases, and retrieval mechanisms.

Going beyond the fundamentals, we'll take a look at more advanced topics such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and tool calling.

There will be plenty of demos, to keep both the audience and the presenter on the edge of their seat :-)
