Writing a good Dockerfiles is hard enough, teaching others how to do it and keeping it maintained is even harder. So how can you possibly keep touch with multiple teams spinning dozens of projects each? Of course you abstract and metaprogram! But how to avoid NIH syndrome then?

This talk will be about pitfalls of independent fullstack teams dockerizing their applications and showcase the open source solution that's in line with Platform Engineering - Cloud Native Buildpacks.

We will define what is a "Production Ready Container" for everybody and how to trigger its build with one command. I will show how easy it will be to add or expand the technology stacks that you maintain - so you won't need to hunt multiple repositories to change the Dockerfiles in each of them.
