Fact: DAX helps Deneb.

The aim of this session is to help you understand how using DAX can make your experience with Vega-Lite and Deneb so much more manageable.

Deneb gives you almost absolute control of your visuals, but often the amount of code, and learning a new language in Vega-Lite or Vega, can be overwhelming.

Luckily in Power BI we have DAX! A powerful language which helps us add another layer or flexibility into our visual design process, and can dramatically reduce the amount of code we need to use within Deneb.

In this session we will look at the increased possibilities we are given by combining DAX and Deneb, and how DAX can help overcome some of the limitations you will encounter when building more complex Deneb visuals.

We will also go over some examples of how using DAX with Deneb reduces the complexity of the code needed in Vega-Lite, and makes creating Deneb visuals more accessible to Deneb beginners.
