In the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI), it is crucial to anticipate and prepare for potential global risks. In the context of the World Economic Forum's Global Risks Report, our proposed talk brings together a diverse panel of leading experts to explore the implications of AI on society, the economy, and the environment.

Our panel includes emeritus Prof Ian Miles (UoM), an expert in technology innovation and social forecasting, Volker Hirsch, a tech investor and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Medicines Discovery Catapult, and Praveen Tomar, a senior civil servant at the Office for National Statistics.

Together, we aim to raise awareness and stimulate discussion on new approaches for scenario planning in the age of Generative AI.
