Ramen is a cluster-management (OCM) extension that offers recovery and relocation services for workloads and their persistent data. Ramen provides cloud-native interfaces to manage the actions during capture or restore workflow that are called Recipes.
The recipes have detailed steps needed for an application to function successfully once the backup or restoration is complete. We will focus on how some imperative applications can be restored using this feature. With Ramen and recipe users can optimize resource usage by effortlessly moving workloads between clusters while minimizing downtime during relocation. We invite the community to contribute to the recipe repository to increase the scope and versatility of Ramen's functionality by sharing their workflow scripts for Capture or Recover actions.
