SQL Copilot, what the query is this!?

At Build 2024, Microsoft announced that Copilot for Azure SQL is entering public preview. Since then, progress has been made, and Copilot is now integrated into SQL Server Management Studio.

But, how do you get started? What are the costs, and how does it work?

This session aims to help you get started with Copilot for SQL. Let's find this Copilot and let it assist us a bit. We will explore general queries, data-specific tasks, and even database management!

While it won't be an in-depth analysis of the internal workings, I will touch on security issues, including how Copilot manages permissions and data privacy.

Buck Woody once (often) said: "Don't type in demos." Join this session to see me break that rule! And even better, send in your own questions and see what happens!

By the end of this session, you'll know how to make SQL Copilot work for you and how it can enhance your productivity without adding complexity.
