With the introduction of APEX 23.2, you can now create a copy of your application, make changes in the copy, and merge those changes back into your source app. APEX produces a visual diff of the changes between your working copy and main application.
You can now do feature development and testing in a working copy of your application, and merge changes back in when you are ready for them to be included in the main application.
