Why OSPO support group is NOT enough (Reflections of OSPO activities in Asia)

As an OSPO leader, it is quite a common experience to work and collaborate with other community developers and members to facilitate community led, volunteer based events. However, co-chairing a community summit with hundreds of attendees and English speakers in China, all with a volunteering team, can be quite an unique and challenging experience.

We co-chaired The 2nd OSPO Summit this spring in Shenzhen, China and the event was well acclaimed for its content storyline, unique form of interactions, and valuable insights through reflections for OSPO practitioners.

In this session, we'll share the story of our initial struggle, the summit experience itself, and learnings and reflections which we felt immensely valuable for OSPO members.
