A lot has changed since J2EE times. With Jakarta EE and MicroProfile the Java Enterprise ecosystem is evolving and re-gaining more and more attraction in the community. Spring developers might have already left behind Java EE as they think it's old and slow. For those and for those who have no experience with Jakarta/Java EE yet, I want to "demystify" what Jakarta / Java EE is and how is it different from Spring.
