Leveraging gRPC at LinkedIn for Service Infrastructure Experience

Service developer experience surrounding next-generation service frameworks, including gRPC and its surrounding LinkedIn ecosystem. It mainly covers the life cycle of a LinkedIn service written in gRPC and how a service developer can leverage tools developed at LinkedIn such as:

Sceptre, a service discovery tool that enables the discovery, exploration, and experimentation with various gRPC resources and APIs. When building new products, users might want to expose certain data through their services or might want to consume data from other services.

gRPCurli - a LinkedIn wrapper over gRPCurl that lets
you interact with gRPC servers. It’s basically curl for gRPC
servers. Includes some important features such as Invocation Context, RPC header, Distributed Tracing, Datavault authentications, Call tree and Streaming.

IntelliJ plugin - grpcservice plugin to help the users work easily with service definitions to provide adding a new gRPC service and adding RPCs to an existing service.
